Dear Parents and Students of Celina Elementary,

Can you believe it is April?!?  Where has this school year gone?

I want to take a moment and honor the teacher, staff and students at Celina Elementary School.  The standards in Texas continue to rise.  Our teachers plan and prepare our students to ensure success in all academic areas and our students strive to meet the expectations set by the state.  The standards in all grade levels are higher, curriculum and assessments include more in depth questions and there is a higher level or rigor in all subject areas.  The teachers are providing a high level of teaching and learning so that the students have the skills they need to be successful throughout their education.  Celina Elementary is the foundation of your child’s education and we strive to make this a positive experience for you and your child.  Please continue to help ensure success of their future by supporting education, ensuring homework is complete, reading with your child and showing interest by asking open-ended questions about their day.  As we begin planning out the remainder of the school year, we are getting excited and anxious about the upcoming events and activities and hope you are too.  As always, we gladly accept feedback, suggestions and comments.
